People are sharing the video with a lot of aggression. Many verified users shared the video along with different captions.
A verified user named, Rajendra Pal Gautam shared the video and wrote, “What is this going on in our country, what message do these people want to give to the world by brutally thrashing the people of the society who made idols of God after touching the idol? Our people are not ready to bear any more oppression, these killers should be booked for treason!” (English Translation)
Another verified user Bolta Hindustan wrote, “Dalit murdered after touching the idol of God in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh! Jagroop, 50, was lynched to death FIR registered against Sandeep Mishra, Kuldeep Mishra, accused absconding.” (English Translation)

To investigate the above claim DFRAC team used some specific keywords and keyphrases and found a video of PartapGarh Police, where one can hear the bite of the Additional Superintendent of Police explaining the whole incident on the Partapgarh police official Twitter account.
He is in the video mentioned that there is no angle of casteism involved in the entire issue and people are spreading fake news in the context.
The caption of the video states, “Bite of Additional Superintendent of Police, East Pratapgarh Shri Vidyasagar Mishra in the sequence of action being taken by the police in the case of the death of a young man during treatment in the incident of assault in village Puregulal of Thanakshetra Patti.”(English Translation)
