A video is getting viral on social media. In this video, it can be seen that numerous cheetahs are hunting deer together. Social media users are sharing this video claiming that this video is from Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh, where 8 Namibian cheetahs were released by PM Narendra Modi on September 17.

By sharing this video, a user named Gausiya Khan wrote – “Where are those fake animal lovers who come before the Bakrid and shout everywhere, look here 200 Deers were put in the mouth of death by your father and how much @BeingSalmanKhan was persecuted, is there no law for a deer now?” (English Translation)

Fact Check:

In order to fact-check the viral video, the DFRAC team first converted the video into several frames with the help of the InVid tool. The team did a reverse image search of these frames. On searching, we found a video uploaded on YouTube called Lemurt Wildlife Tours on August 17, 2022. The video going viral can be seen here.

The video has been uploaded on August 17, 2022, while the cheetahs brought from Namibia in Kuno National Park were released by PM Modi on September 17, 2022. So it is proved that this video is not from Kuno National Park. Apart from this, the YouTube channel uploading this video has not given its exact information but has used #tembeakenya as the hashtag. Meanwhile, Kenya is also written in the location of the YouTube channel.

Conclusion:

It is clear from the analysis of DFRAC that the viral video is not from Kuno National Park of India. Therefore, the claim made by social media users is misleading.
