At the same time, the CBI also raided Gurugram (Gurgaon) in Haryana.
It is claimed that the CBI raid was conducted in a mall regarding to Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. Several media houses and social media users claimed that the CBI raid was conducted at Tejashwi Yadav’s mall Cubes Mall.
By claiming this, a verified user LP Pant wrote on Twitter- “CBI raids on Cubes Mall in Gurugram too. The mall is said to be close to Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.”
Rakesh Kumar wrote – “CBI raids Tejashwi Yadav’s mall in Gurugram, CBI raids #cubes1 mall.”
At the same time, many media houses also tweeted regarding this raid to Tejashwi Yadav. Zee Delhi-NCR Haryana tweeted- “#BREAKING: CBI raids Tejashwi Yadav’s mall in Gurugram, raids are also conducted on in Katihar, Patna. #TejasviYadav #Gurugram #CBIRaid.”
Hindustan Newspaper wrote “The scope of the investigation has reached Gurugram and raids have been conducted at Tejashwi Yadav’s mall. The CBI team has arrived to raid Cubes 71 Mall and the investigation has done. The investigation is currently underway. #TejashwiYadav #CBI.”
Fact check:
To verify the fact check of the viral claim, DFRAC searched for the Whiteland Corporation and Urban Cubes-71 Mall. The team found several newspaper articles denying the fact of Whiteland Corporation’s link to Tejashwi Yadav.

According to economictimes “Gurgaon-based real estate developer Whiteland Corporation has denied any links regarding with Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav after a brief search conducted by the CBI at the office and construction site of Urban Cubes-71. ”
Meanwhile, clarification has also been given by Tejashwi Yadav in this context. Tejashwi Yadav shared the papers of the company and it was told that there are 2 directors of that company and all the shares of the company are with the same two directors. According to the document shared by Tejashwi Yadav, the company has two directors, the first – Viren Mehta and the second – Krishnan Kumar.
Similarly, we saw Tejashwi Yadav’s affidavit filed at the time of elections on myneta.info. In this affidavit, information has been given about the total movable and immovable assets of Tejashwi Yadav as well as the case registered against him. Even in this affidavit, Tejashwi Yadav has not made any mention of Whiteland Corporation or Urban Cubes Mall anywhere.

After the denial of Whiteland, Corporation Company published in various media newspapers and the explanation given by Tejashwi Yadav, the fact is coming out that many media houses, journalists, and social media users have circulated misleading information about Tejashwi Yadav.
