Many types of misleading and fake news about India’s first Law Minister Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar keeps going viral on social media. In the past also, DFRAC has debunked many such misleading and fake information spread on social media about Babasaheb. Links of those are provided below.
Meanwhile, a user named Janardan Mishra on social media has made a claim about Bhimrao Ambedkar. He wrote, “On page 123 of his book “Partition of Pakistan or India”, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar writes – This country was divided in the name of religion and as long as there is a single Muslim in this country, this partition is incomplete. Chamcho we are not saying this, it is written in this book.” {English Translation}

To analyze the viral claim, we looked at page 123 of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s book “Pakistan or Partition of India”, which is available online. Ambedkar wrote Savarkar’s views on this page. But Ambedkar had not written his thoughts and opinions anywhere on this page. One can read page number 123 of Ambedkar’s book “Partition of Pakistan or India” at the link below.

Apart from this, Ambedkar wrote about Savarkar’s views on many issues on pages number 119 to 130. In fact, in this chapter, Ambedkar wrote the views of Hindu and Muslim sides and many thinkers regarding India and Pakistan.
Conclusion:
From this fact-check, the DFRAC team found that the viral claim, being made in the name of Dr Ambedkar is misleading. Because there is no such thing written on page number 123 of Ambedkar’s book “Pakistan or Partition of India”, as being claimed.
