Fact Check: Another False Claim About Elon Musk Got Viral.

Ever since Elon Musk acquired Twitter, he is in the limelight. Meanwhile, a piece of news about him is surfacing on the social media house. The news claims that Elon Musk is going to shut shown Twitter and his next target is FB. Further, Facebook user Just Joel’s shared a screengrab of a tweet from him in which he wrote, “ Now that I bought Twitter, I’m deleting it. FB is next. Go outside and enjoy your life.”

Similarly, many social media users have shared this screengrab all over the World.

Fact Check

In our fact check analysis, we first scroll through the official Twitter account of the new Twitter owner Elon Musk. To our amazement, we found no such news on his official handle.

Further, we also checked in the archived, there also we did not found the viral Tweet. Also, there is no such media report of Musk acquiring Twitter. Hence, the tweet is fabricated. And, Mark Zuckerberg is still listed as the CEO and chairman of Meta, the platform’s parent company.

Conclusion

The viral screengrab is fake and baseless. There is no reality in the claim that he is going to delete Twitter or going to buy Facebook.
