A claim is getting viral on social media regarding India’s talk with Russia on the Ukraine-Russia conflict. ????? ????? a Twitter user claimed that Vladimir Putin and Narendra Modi had a conversation of 25 minutes. As result, Putin made a statement that India should not interfere, otherwise, they have to face the consequences.

Following other users posted the same news widow of CNN. In the viral news window, there is a picture of Putin with the anchor of CNN and the headline. The tweets were posted in around February 26, 2022

Fact check

After cross-checking the credibility of the image, we found an image on the page of CNN. The Lead CNN posted the same image where we can find the same news window having a picture of Putin and the anchor on the other side. In the original picture, the headline is that Putin interferes in the US election of 2020.

The Lead CNN posted the tweet in 2019 and captions it with ‘Russian interference in U.S. elections now comedy fodder for Kremlin’.

CNN also posted a video putting the same news window which says Russia’s inference in US Election 2020.
