Do Indian soldiers have built a Gurudwara on China border?

A claim is getting viral on Twitter where an account named @nandiniidnani69 having 10.2K followers tweeted, “The Sikh Regiment built a Gurdwara on the China border and placed a mark on the post”.

As you can see in the video soldiers are celebrating and tweet was posted on 18th January 2022.Other accounts on Facebook has also posted the same video claiming that a gurudwara is built at China border.

Fact Check 

After seeing the claim going is viral on various social media platforms, we searched for the truth behind the claim, we found an article on Sher-E-Punjab where we found that the gurudwara is known as Gurudwara Pathar Sahib which is situated at Leh. The video was recorded on the installation of 80 Feet Nishan Sahib.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Indian Politian and a verified account on Twitter posted the same video on 25th October 2021. Manjinder Singh tweets, “A blessed feeling Folded hands to see 80 feet Nishan sahib installed at Gurudwara Pathar sahib, Leh #pathersahib #nishansahib” 

 

Conclusion: Hence proving that the video posted was of 25th October 2021 on the occasion of installation Nishan Saheb. The claim is fake and misleading.
