The DFRAC team analysed the video and the associated claim, determining that it is fake. The last cricket match between India and Pakistan took place during the Asia Cup final on September 28, 2025. Since then, no official cricket match has occurred between the two teams. Additionally, the claim that a fight broke out during a match in Sharjah is also fake. The last game held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium was on September 5, 2025, between Pakistan and the UAE as part of the T20I series.
To verify the video’s authenticity, we took a screenshot and conducted a reverse image search. This led us to a TikTok user known for posting AI-generated videos, who first shared this fight video. The username of this account is jhatka_ai, and its bio indicates that it is specifically dedicated to posting AI-related content.
Another TikTok video was posted by this user, depicting a fight between India and Pakistan during a cricket match. It was also created using AI.
Conclusion
Therefore, both the video and the associated claim are fake. No recent match has occurred between India and Pakistan in Sharjah, and the video is generated by AI.
