The DFRAC team conducted an investigation and found that the claims made by Twitter users about the image were MISLEADING . The picture is not from a Trump rally at all. It’s actually a photo from a rally for Barack Obama back in 2008.
Back in 2008, Barack Obama gave a powerful speech under the Gateway Arch at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial. He was surrounded by a big crowd of supporters who were cheering and holding signs. Obama talked about change and hope, saying, “I believe things are changing all across America.” People in Missouri and other important states like Michigan, Illinois, Virginia, and Ohio really felt inspired by his words. The energy of the crowd and the historic location made Obama’s message even more impact, showing that the country was ready for a new direction.
