A video showing an Indian vlogger denied entry into Israeli bars and restaurants has been shared by numerous users on social media site X(namely Twitter) with claims like that despite full support for Israel, the Indian vlogger did not get entry into Israeli bars.

An account by the name of @zhao_dashuai, having more than 80 k followers on X, shared this video and claimed: “Bars and restaurants in Israel refuses entry for Indians. Many Hindutvas supports western imperialism of Israel and the US”

Furthermore, several users shared this video on X and made similar claims.

Fact-Check

To determine the reality of the above viral video, the DFRAC team converted it into some Keyframes. We reverse-searched these keyframes on google and found that it’s a cropped version of the full video which is available on the YouTube channel of Nomad Shubham (Indian Vlogger). In the video, it can be seen that his entry was denied because all bars and restaurants were full. While he got entry into another bar where he was greeted with full respect.

In addition, we also found a tweet by Israel embassy in India refuting the above claim and clarifying that it’s a sliced video of fake news and propaganda.

Conclusion

It is evident from DFRAC’s fact-check that viral video is cropped which has been shared on X with misleading claims.
