Multiple users on Internet have claimed that Taylor Swift is reportedly pursuing legal action against a college student who utilized publicly available information to monitor her private jet flights, citing it as an act of stalking due to the emissions generated by these flights.

Fact Check:
The DFRAC team dove deep into the matter. During investigation, we found media reports by multiple media houses which mentioned that Taylor Swift has not initiated legal proceedings against anyone at this time. Instead, her team has issued a cease-and-desist letter, which serves as a warning of potential legal action but does not constitute legal action itself.
This letter was directed to Jack Sweeney, a junior at the University of Central Florida, alleging that his tracking of her travel patterns amounted to stalking and posed a potential threat to her safety.
However, Sweeney maintains that his account merely provides limited information about the cities Swift may visit and her attendance at public events. He further asserts that the team’s efforts to deter him through legal threats are aimed at preventing him from disclosing significant information about the environmental impact of Swift’s private jet emissions.
Sweeney’s previous account @taylorswiftjets which would relay public information about Swift’s private jet has been suspended. He went on to create a new account named @swiftjetnextday which is presently active.
Conclusion
Thus, from the fact check it is evident that Taylor has not yet initiated legal action. She has sent Sweeney a warning to take down public information. Hence, the claim is misleading.
