The family has also alleged assault and throwing of objectionable things. The victim has made these allegations against Mohammad Guddu and his five brothers including Mohammad Laddu. To verify the authenticity of the above viral news, the Dfrac team did a keyword search on Google and found a tweet carrying a press release on the official X handle of Darbhanga Police with the caption: “News of Muria village of the police station is a rumour, It is not a matter of religious conversion, but of a land dispute.”(Translated to English).

According to the press release, the sub-divisional officer said that this matter is not at all related to religious conversion or religious dispute, but is a land dispute. During the investigation, it was found that a long-vacant government land between two parties, over which there is a dispute.
