A claim is going viral on social media platforms stating that now, people will see Vande Bharat Bus on roads. The viral image shared along with the viral claim, shows the Vande Bharat Bus which has been designed in the form of the Vande Bharat train. Some users are calling this bus from Khagaria, Bihar while some are calling it from Prayagraj, UP.

Sharing the image of Vande Bharat Bus on X(Twitter), a user named Nikhil Bajpai wrote:  “After the train, Vande Bharat Bus is introduced”

Furthermore, another user named Satish Yadav also shared this image and wrote: “After Vande Bharat Trains Vande Bharat bus arrived in Prayagraj!!”

In addition to that, several users are sharing this photo and claiming that the Vande Bharat Bus spotted in Khagaria, Bihar

Fact-Check

To determine the reality of the Vande Bharat Bus, the DFRAC team cropped the front part of the viral bus and reverse-searched it via Google. Meanwhile, we found a media report by the news website India.com featuring a similar image of the Vande Bharat Train.

Here, you can see that the front part of the Vande Bharat train is similar to the front part of the bus. Moreover, we also discovered some similarities in both images whose details are as follows:

In both images, the reflection of the wire can be seen on the blue color strip on the right.

Following this, a similar image of the Vande Bharat train was also found on the news website Times Now.

Besides this, upon Google search, no such news has been reported about Vande Bharat Bus.

Conclusion

It is clear from DFRAC’s Fact-Check that the front part of the Vande Bharat Bus has been digitally edited as the front part of the Vande Bharat train has been added to it.

Hence, the claim of social media users is misleading.
