Amidst the Israel-Hamas conflict, a video of Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani (Emir of Qatar) is going viral. It is being claimed in the video that Qatar Emir has advised Indian Muslims to stay away from Arab matters.
What is the claim?
On social media Platform X (Twitter), a verified user Rohit Live while sharing the viral video wrote “Emir of Qatar: Indian Muslims should stop interfering in Arab issues. We don’t need certificates from converted Muslims (accusing Arab world not doing much for the Gaza). If they are so concerned about Gaza People, they should book their flights and save the people of Gaza”.

Apart from this, other users also made similar claim.
Fact Check
To investigate about the viral video, firstly DFRAC team converted the video into some keyframes and then reverse-searched it on Google. During this, we found a similar video on the Arab language news channel Aljazeera Mubasher.
During this, we got to know that the viral video was uploaded 6 years ago on 14 May 2017. The video is from the 17th Doha Forum which was held in the capital of Qatar, in which he raised the issue of Palestine.
Furthermore, we also found a press release by Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the speech given by the Emir of Qatar at the 17th Doha Forum. In which he did not mention anything about Indian Muslims anywhere.
Conclusion
Hence, it is clear from the DFRAC’s fact check that the viral video is misleading because the video is 6 years old and there is no mention of Indian Muslims anywhere in it.
