To verify the authenticity of claims regarding viral pictures, the Dfrac team reverse-searched them on Google. Meanwhile, the team found these pictures on the renowned Newspaper Website Indian Express uploaded on November 8, 2016, with the title: “Yamuna River: Sea of froth welcomes devotees on Chhath Puja”.
Furthermore, Website Scoopwhoop also posted the same pictures on November 8, 2016, with the title: “These Images Of A Foam-Filled Yamuna Show That It’s Not Just The Air In Delhi That’s Poisonous”.
