A video is going viral on social media, where a girl wearing a hijab is screaming and telling people of her rights to wear a hijab wherever she wants.
Social media users are sharing the video and claiming that ‘Vishwa Bharti Girls Higher Secondary School Rainwari’ in Srinagar is not allowing girls to wear the hijab.
Hamid- Al- Ali, who is a fundraiser of Al Qaeda shared the video and writes the caption in arabic which when translated to English states, “India – Occupied Kashmir: The Hindu authorities asked the students of the “Vishu Bharti” school to remove their veils because a decision was issued to prevent the veil”
A user on twitter by the name of Firdous Qadri posted the video along with a thread that talks on how the schools in Srinagar are not allowing Muslim girls to enter the schools while wearing a Hijab.
Ashok Swain, also shared the same video while targeting the Hindus in India for not giving the rights to minorities.

To verify the claim DFRAC team did a keyword search and found a circular from the ‘Vishwa Bharti Girls Higher Secondary School Rainawari Srinagar’ with subject to the dress code Policy.
In the circular the school has denied all such claims and has written that the school management always respect the sentiments of different sections of the society.

With the clarification by the school authorities itself, it is clear that the claim by social media users is Fake as none as such happened in Srinagar School.
