A photo of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar is getting viral in which Dhoni can be seen touching Tendulkar’s feet. The picture is claimed of the recent Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at MA Chidambaram Stadium on May 6.
Social media users are sharing this picture while praising Dhoni and his upbringing.
Sharing this picture a verified user by the name of Sampat Sharma who claims to be an author and panelist wrote a long caption in hindi which when translates to English states, “That’s why it is said that rituals are not sold in the market. Your upbringing only tells how cultured you are. During the IPL match between Chennai and Mumbai, when Mumbai mentor Sachin Tendulkar came on the field, Chennai captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni went ahead and touched his feet. For your information, let me tell you that both are billionaires in terms of money. Proves how high humility and decency can take you no matter what. On the other hand, there are such people who get inflated towards the balloon even after having less position and money. There is only one life, it is up to us to decide how to live it.”

To check the veracity of the claim DFRAC team did a keyword search and found no such media reports on any main steam media channels because if this could have been the case mainstream media should have covered it.
To check further the team did a reverse search and found a picture that looks similar to the viral picture of Sachin but in the photo, instead of bending over and touching his feet, Dhoni stood beside Tendulkar, who looked the same as he did in the viral photo. Reportedly, this photo was shot in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium before the April 8 encounter between the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings.
