Ongoing mass movement named, “BharatJodoYtra is started by the Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is orchestrating the movement by walking from Kanyakumari to the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir spanning 3,570 kilometers over 150 days.

Meanwhile, a video is being shared on social media where Rahul Gandhi, Charanjit Singh Channi and Jitendra Singh can be seen walking. Social media users are claiming that the former union minister Bhanwar Jitendra Singh goes down on his knee to tie Rahul Gandhi’s shoe lace.

Sharing the video from the yatra, Amit Malviya who is an In-charge of BJP’s National Information & Technology Department writes, “Former union minister Bhanwar Jitendra Singh goes down on his knee to tie Rahul Gandhi’s shoe lace. The arrogant entitled brat instead of helping himself is seen patting his back.

Kharge ji was talking about this practice? There is no dearth of generations in Congress.”

Many other users too shared the same video with different captions.

Fact Check:

To investigate the viral video, DFRAC team used certain keywords and found a video which was uploaded by the official Twitter account of Congress. In the video the former union minister Bhanwar Jitendra Singh himself gave an interview and explained the whole scenario.

In the video he clearly mentioned that he was tying his own shoe lace and not of Rahul Gandhi.

The caption of the video states, “BJP IT cell ran FAKE news

While walking in the yatra, my shoe laces came untied, then Rahul Gandhi ji saw and asked me to tie the laces. @RahulGandhi for misleading the nation by misrepresenting this small issue. Apologies to ji @amitmalviya -@JitendraSAlwar Yes.”

Then, we found many comments in the comment sections in which the entire video from the different Point of view of the camera can be seen.
