The picture showing burses on a women body is not from Iran Protest- Read Fact Check

A picture of a girl’s naked body with a lot of burses is getting viral on social media platforms claiming it to be of Iran Protests.

Along with the picture of the girl’s back there is also a caption written on it which sates, “Iranian Female demonstrator beaten up by regime’s thigs during #IranRevolution. This is why @UN_HRC demands investigation.”

Sharing the above picture a twitter user writes, “iran under the fascism #زن_زندگی_آزادی #IranRevolution2022 #iran.

Fact check:

DFRAC team investigated the above picture by Google’s reverse image search to check its authenticity and found the same picture was uploaded by a user named syed shah raza shah along with a thread that when translated in English states, “#Peshawar!! This is a dancing girl named Wafa Khan. She was called by a miscreant named Mansoor Khan in the limits of Varsak Road Police Station Machni Gate. Then tortured them there. The police is also not registering their report. @AbbasAhsan @kpkpolice091.” indicating the viral picture is from Pakistan.

Along with this pictures there was also lot many more pictures of differnt body parts of girl’s body with burses on it.

Also, when we look for the date this was uploaded it shows march 5, 2021.

Conclusion:

The picture is not of Iran Protest, but from Pakistan and is from the year 2021, hence is misleading
