Norway Diplomat and former politician Eric Solheim shared a video on his Twitter. In the video, vehicles can be seen crossing the road submerged in water. Sharing the video he wrote, te in his tweet – “Incredible India! I finally got to face the most beautiful water highway”
Fact Check:
To verify the claim by Erik Solheim, the DFRAC team took the help of theInVIDtooland converted it into multiple keyframes. Then the team ran a reverse search image of the keyframe. During this, the team also found a similar video on reddit here the video was told that this video is from Yongxiu Wucheng of China.
In further investigation, the team found another similar video on Beautiful China, the Twitter account of Chinese state media. The caption of the video was, “take a drive on “road underwater” in E China’s Jiangxi! A section of Yongxiu-Wucheng Road is submerged in water during flood season when the water level exceeds 18.67 meters #AmazingChina.”
conclusion:
So it is clear that the viral video is misleading. Because it is not from India but from China.
