Fact Check: Did NSA Ajit Doval predict Yogi Adityanath to become the Prime Minster of India?

A post is getting viral on social media by the account with the name of national security advisor, Ajit Doval. In which the CM of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath is predicted to become the Prime Minister of India.

A user shared the screenshot of Ajit Doval’s alleged tweet writing, “If Yogi Adtiyanath became the future PM of India then how many people would be happy? Jai Shree Ram”

FACT CHECK:

During the investigation of this claim, our team at DFRAC found its own fact check by which we got to know that there is no official account of Ajit Doval on social media. All tweets and Facebook posts in their name are fake.

In this regard, a warning was issued by the ministry of external affairs. Which reads, “Important Alert! Shri Ajit Kumar Doval K.C., National Security Advisor has no official account on Facebook. This is to advise caution against impostor or fake accounts under his name.”

Other than this, we got a tweet from spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs, Arindam Bagchi. In which it was written, “Important Alert! Shri Ajit Kumar Doval K.C., National Security Advisor has no official account on Twitter. This is to advise caution against impostor or fake accounts under his name.”. 

CONCLUSION:

It clarifies from the fact check done on the name of NSA Ajit Doval on prediction of Yogi Adityanath becoming PM of India is fake.
