Amid the ongoing Russia Ukraine crisis, another piece of news that Russia is preparing for a victory parade is getting circulated all over the internet. Social media users are sharing some pictures with the claims that fascist Russia is preparing a parade. Further, sharing some images Michael MacKay wrote, “Red armbands, white circle, black symbol Russian fascists prepare for a parade to celebrate their war and genocide in Europe.”
Similarly, Visegrád 24 shared an image with the caption, “Russian Army training ahead of their May 9th parade in Moscow. Looks familiar doesn’t it? Nice black outfits with armbands…”
Further, along with the picture another user Anders Östlund wrote, “Russian soldiers training for victory day. History goes full circle.” 
Many users shared this picture with the same claim.

While reverse image searching of the viral pictures we found the viral image of women in the parade on gettyimages.The image is of Russian servicewomen march during a Victory Day parade rehearsal on Dvortsovaya (Palace) Square in central Saint Petersburg on April 26, 2019.
Hence, the above image is old. It has no relation with the ongoing situation.
Moreover, we found a tweet of @PutinBear71 of April 20,2018. Along with the picture he wrote,”Shreds, that’s how it was .. The girls from the Ministry of Internal Affairs are rehearsing the parade.”
