#ArrestAmanChopra is trending on Twitter after Aman Chopra, editor of News18 news channel gave a statement about the demolition of the temple in Alwar, Rajasthan was the revenge for Jahangirpuri riots, Delhi.

A 300-year-old temple was demolished in Rajgarh town of Alwar district of Rajasthan, during an anti-encroachment drive in the town, in which around 150 shops and buildings were destroyed.

Even the Supreme Court ordered a status quo on the demolition drive, restraining the authorities from proceeding any further. Although, it took at least another 90 minutes for the local body to stop the demolition drive, stating not to have received any order from the supreme court.

Delhi Police has arrested five people and apprehended one minor of the same family in the case. A total of 23 people have been arrested and two juveniles apprehended so far in connection with the incident in which nine people, including eight police personnel and a civilian,got injured.

Aman Chopra hosts a show name “Desh Nahi Jukhne Denge” the theme of the show is that he mostly takes up the communal issues of the country and set an open field for debates wherein he calls members from both the right-wing and the left-wing and asks for their opinions on the ongoing issue.

On a similar prime time show, he stated, “Desh Nahi Jukne denge, Buldozer nahi rukne denge.”

People all over the internet started a war against him and his communal angles on every issue.

Many users have shared a college of the screenshot wherein the title of his Primetime show can be seen majorly his words consisting of HINDU, MUSLIM, YOGI RAJ, NAMAZ, etc. He is being considered a hate monger who spreads hatred among different groups of people.

Not only Muslim community came forward with #ArrestAmanChopra, but many Hindus too were supporting his arrest as can be seen below in the links.

People have a lot of agitation towards him as they are assuming him to be the one who is montaging with the rules of journalism of being unbiased.

He himself in one of the episode of his show said, “Neutral hone ke chakar mai yeh thode na sach ni bataege.” at 1:29 minutes. He also tweeted the same video on twitter.
