Fact Check:

During the investigation, the DFRAC team found that the video is not from Faridabad and does not depict a rape case. In reality, the video is from Brazil and is related to an incident following a dispute between a husband and wife. We found multiple Brazilian media reports about the incident. According to a report by Diário do Amapá, “Police are investigating an incident in which a woman fell from a moving car. The incident took place on the night of March 29 in northern Macapá. Apart from the couple, two other individuals—the victim’s brother and sister-in-law—were also in the car. All of them confirmed the sequence of events, stating that after an argument between the couple, the woman said she would jump, and the man replied that he could jump as well.”

Additionally, several Brazilian media outlets and social media users shared this video on March 29 and 30, confirming that the incident occurred in Macapá, northern Brazil. These social media posts can be seen here, here, here andhere.

To further verify the claim, our team contacted the Faridabad Police control room. The police confirmed that no such incident had taken place in Faridabad.
