A video of detonations inside a building is going viral on the internet. The video allegedly claims ‘Iranian missiles have taken down the Israeli Defence system in Tel Aviv’. The video is circulated by netizens across different social media platforms. A user on X with the account ‘@sumonkais’ posted the video with the claim “Iranian missiles accurately targeted the Israeli Defence system in Tel Aviv. You can see the multifold explosion during the fire eruption”.

Another user on YouTube from the channel ‘@HAQEEQAT-52’ posted the video with the caption “Explosions from northern Israel”.

Fact Check

DFRAC examined the video for its authenticity, and the video turned out to be misleading. We searched for the viral claim on Google but found no results. There was neither any media report confirming the claim nor any official statement from any of the concerned countries.

Upon looking closely at the video, we spotted a ‘blue Myvi’, which is a Malaysian car.

We conducted a reverse image search on Google Images and found similar videos. A Malaysian national posted the original video on TikTok with the username ‘hamidhuson937’ in April 2025.

We also found a similar video on a YouTube channel named ‘@theSunMedia’, which is a Malaysian news channel. The channel posted the video with the caption “Senai paint factory fire injures 3, destroys vehicles and nearby units.

To further confirm, we searched for the exact caption on Google, and it was correct; indeed, a fire broke out in a paint factory in Senai Desa, Malaysia, on 24 April 2025.

Conclusion

Therefore, it is concluded that the viral video does not have anything to do with the ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel. It is a video from 24 April 2025. When a fire explosion occurred in a paint mixing factory in Senai Desa, Malaysia.
