Claim
A video is going viral on social media. In this video, a large crowd of people from the Muslim community is seen chanting slogans. It is being claimed about this video that the crowd is shouting the slogans ‘Hindu will be destroyed, Inshallah-Inshallah’.

On the social media site, X (formerly Twitter), a user named Deepak Sharma shared the viral video with caption: ‘Hindu will be destroyed 🚨 Inshallah Inshallah… Yes, Hindu will be destroyed… Inshallah Inshallah. A Muslim, who is suffering, is praying for the destruction of Hindus in the country of Hindus during Eid in Ujjain… I also feel that if things don’t improve, it will happen. What do you think, Hindus, reply ✍️’

Another user, Dr. Anita Vladivostki, has also shared it. While sharing the video, she wrote: ‘Ujjain, on Eid: Muslims praying for the destruction of Hindus. On the day of Eid, they are praying that – “Hindu will be destroyed, Inshallah, Inshallah” and this is not being said in secret, but they are openly saying it while standing on the road near the temple.’

Besides this, many other users have also shared the viral video with similar claims.
Fact Check
To investigate the viral video, the DFRAC conducted a keyword search related to the claim. During this search, we found a similar video in a report by Dainik Bhaskar from a year ago. In this video, the crowd can clearly be heard chanting ‘Israel will be destroyed, Inshallah-Inshallah’ and ‘Bharat Zindabad’ (Long Live India).

Additionally, in further investigation, we found reports from Punjab Kesari and ETV Bharat. These reports mention an inquiry into the video by SP Pradeep Sharma. It was also mentioned that memorandums have been submitted by both the Hindu and Muslim sides.

Conclusion
Therefore, DFRAC’s fact check clearly shows that the viral video is misleading. In the video, the slogans being chanted are not ‘Hindu will be destroyed, Inshallah Inshallah’, but rather ‘Israel will be destroyed, Inshallah Inshallah’. Also, the video is one year old.
