The escalation of terror activities is on the rise in a state that has witnessed no presence of militants in the past couple of months. This rise has also added fuel to the fire of misinformation on social media platforms. Some pak-based handles posted an image on social media platform X(formerly Twitter) and claimed that Indian troops had once again martyred a young Kashmiri in Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir during a brutal fake encounter under the guise of a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Uri.
Taking to X, a pak-based handle Kashmir English posted an image on X. It wrote: “Indian troops have once again martyred a young Kashmiri in Baramulla, IIOJK, during a brutal fake encounter under the guise of a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Uri.
