Recently, we came across a short clip from US President Joe Biden’s recent speech on the 75th Anniversary of NATO being falsely shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) with the claim that he used a derogatory term and humiliated the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and his wife in his remarks
An account with the username @ricwe123 shared this video and wrote: “”I realized I was f***ing your wife”

The post has racked up around one million views on X.
In addition, numerous users shared this video and made similar claims.

To investigate the claim made through the viral video, the DFRAC team closely inspected the viral short clip and found that Biden said, “talking to the Secretary’s wife and asked him to extend his service. “Forgive me. You put your plans on hold”
Additionally, a keyword search related to the claim made through the viral video led us to the transcript of Joe Biden’s speech, which is available on the official website of the White House.
