On social media, a video went viral of PM Narendra Modi. While sharing the video users claimed that PM Modi strolling alone in Bihar’s Nalanda as CM Nitish Kumar was not with him during the inauguration of the new campus of Nalanda University.

On Investigation, DFRAC found a similar video uploaded on ANI News where it can be seen that CM Nitish Kumar was present during the inauguration of the new campus of Nalanda University.
Furthermore, Zee News also uploaded a similar video on YouTube mentioned: “PM Modi inaugurated the new campus of the historic Nalanda University in Rajgir, Bihar. PM Modi, who reached Nalanda University, first took a closer look at the old heritage of the university”.
Conclusion:
It is evident from the DFRAC fact check that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar was present during the inauguration of Nalanda University. Therefore, the claim of social media users is misleading.
