Upon investigating further, we also discovered a news article published by a media outlet named Mining.com on June 15, 2020. In this article, Mining.com stated: “The Brazilian Navy is monitoring the location of the ore carrier Stella Banner that sunk Friday off the coast of Maranhão. On Friday morning, salvors sent the $ 10 million ship to the bottom of the ocean off the coast, just four years after its construction”.

In addition to this, the article also mentioned that all 20 crew members were subsequently evacuated in good condition.
