Meanwhile, numerous false and misleading information are making rounds on social media.

An image of PM Modi along with former CM of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje is going viral on social media site X(Twitter). Social media users are sharing this picture as a recent one. A user named Arvind Godara shared this image on X(Twitter) and wrote: “Really, the high command is sweating in front of Vasundhara Raje. Look carefully at who is feeling uncomfortable in the picture.”

Furthermore, several users shared this and made similar claims. A user named Qamar shared this image and wrote: “Only Raje’s rule in Rajasthan”

Fact-Check

The DFRAC team reverse-searched the viral image on Google. We found this image on the official x handle of PM Modi. The image was posted on January 6, 2018, with the caption informing that the then Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Conclusion

It is clear from DFRAC’s fact-check that the viral image of PM Modi along with Vasundhara Raje is from the year 2018, not a recent one. therefore, the claim of social media users is misleading.
