Users on social media are fervently sharing this video and claiming that some Israeli Soldiers abducted a child and a Palestinian father was not able to save his child from the cruelty of Israeli soldiers.

An account named Ragged Trousered Philanderer shared this video and wrote: “Imagine just how helpless and humiliated you’d feel to be a Palestinian father watching armed enemy Israeli soldiers abduct your children and take them off to god knows where to be beaten, tortured, sexually assaulted and detained for months or years?”

We found this Video uploaded in the form of shorts on a YouTube Channel named The Electronic Intifada with the caption: ”Arrest of a Child in Aida Refugee Camp. Moreover, the video was uploaded in the year 2015. The description of the video says: “Israeli soldiers detain a child in Aida refugee camp on Tuesday, 17 November. Video shot by Salah Ajarma. It is posted here for the purpose of news reporting”
What did the Media Report say?
Upon Further investigation, we found a media report by Electronic Intifada stating that this video shows Israeli soldiers detaining an 8-year-old child in the Aida Refugee Camp near Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday.It was shot by Salah Ajarma, director of Lajee Center a community organization in the camp.
Conclusion
It is proved from DFRAC’s Fact-Check that the viral video showing the abduction of Palestinian Infant is indeed from 2015 and completely unrelated to the ongoing conflict.
