The girl is telling in this video that she was not selected. Social media users are claiming that even after having such a melodious voice, the girl has not been selected for Indian Idol.

To fact-check the viral video, the DFRAC team converted the video into a few frames, followed by a reverse search. We found several media reports regarding this video. According to the news published by Dainik Bhaskar in August 2022- Supriya, a resident of Samastipur in Bihar, went to audition for Indian Idol. Where the judges disqualified her, after which she cried as soon as she left the audition room.
