To fact-check the viral video, the DFRAC team converted the video into a few frames, followed by a reverse search. We found several media reports regarding this video. According to the news published by Dainik Bhaskar in August 2022- Supriya, a resident of Samastipur in Bihar, went to audition for Indian Idol. Where the judges disqualified her, after which she cried as soon as she left the audition room.

India TV published a report in this regard on August 8, 2022. Apart from this, it has also been reported in other media reports that Supriya cried after being rejected in the audition.
