To fact-check the viral video the team of DFRAC first searched about the background sound in which the commentator is saying: “also for the victory and Srilanka winning by 7 wickets”. The team of DFRAC searched for the Srilanka and Pakistan match history in which the incident happen and found an article on sports.NDTV the headline stated: Convert and you will go to Heaven, Pakistani cricketer told Dilshan. Which was posted on September 04, 2014

The article further stated that while the players were walking back to the dressing room in Dambulla. Religious comments by Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad to Srilanka player Tillakaratne Dilshan after their one-day international last Saturday are being investigated by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
