A video is getting viral on social media sites. In this video, a man can be heard making sensational disclosure about BJP and BJP leaders. Social media users are calling this person a former BJP MLA. The man in the video is talking about communal politics and conspiracies for elections in Gujarat.
Sharing this video, senior Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan captioned- “How does THE BJP cause riots by sending Hindus in Muslim garb to win elections; Listen to the BJP MLA itself.” ( English Translation)

Fact check:
To analyze the originality of the viral video the team of DFRAC first converted the video into a few frames. Afterward, the team did a reverse image search. We found the video uploaded on YouTube. The video was uploaded on March 26, 2018. It has been told in this video that the name of the person seen in the video is Yatin Ojha.

The video was posted on Facebook on September 17, 2018, by a user named “Jai Bhim”. The caption- ” Watch this sting video of BJP’s old strongman and Modi’s advocate Yatin Ojha, to what extent Modi and BJP can fall to win the elections”. (English Translation)

On further searching on Google about Yatin Ojha, we found news of AajTak. This news has been given the title – “Once close to Modi, Yatin Oza wrote an open letter on demonetization”.

Conclusion:
It is clear from the verification of DFRAC that this video is 4 years old, and is now getting viral.
Therefore, the claim made by social media users is misleading.
