A picture of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is going viral on social media. Where she can be seen buying onions from a vegetable shop. It was claimed through this picture that Nirmala Sitharaman does not eat onions but is buying onions.

This picture was tweeted from the verified account of Congress Seva Dal, saying, I heard in Parliament that @nsitharaman does not eat onions at all.

pic.twitter.com/wK1koC1MgI

Apart from this, another user also tweeted and said, when asked in Parliament why onion was so expensive, this was what Nirmala said. It has nothing to do with the public, it means filling your house.
