Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh shared a video clip of Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari. After the clip, many social media users are speculating that Gadkari may leave BJP soon.
Sharing the video clip, Sanjay Singh wrote in his tweet, “Why did Nitin Gadkari say this after all? There is a big mess going on in the BJP.” {English Translation}
Meanwhile, in the video clip, Gadkari can be heard saying, “If not, it doesn’t matter, if I have gone then my post is gone, don’t worry. I am not a political professional. Whatever happens, will be seen. I’m a normal person, still, a sidewalk eater, a third-class picture watcher, and I grew up among the people who walk drama from the back. I love that life. If there is a Z plus security problem, then I leave after leaving everyone at night. {English Translation}

Apart from this, in another tweet, he wrote, “Today, once again, efforts were being made to continue the nefarious & fabricated campaign against me for political mileage on my behest by some section of mainstream media, social media and some persons in particular by concocting my statements.”
Gadkari further wrote, “..at public programmes without context or correct reference. Although, I’ve never been disturbed by such malicious agendas of fringe elements but all concerned are hereby warned that If such mischief continue,…..I will not hesitate to take them to the law in the larger interest of our Government, Party and millions of our hardworking Karyakartas.”
Apart from this, DFRAC also got a news report from India in which it was mentioned that this video is of an old speech of Gadkari, in which he was talking about the time when he was the PWD minister in the Manohar Joshi government of Shiv Sena-BJP in 1996. He is referring to the incident of death of thousands of children due to malnutrition in Maharashtra’s Amravati.
Conclusion:
Hence the viral video clip is misleading.
