Fact Check: Are People Offering Namaz outside Bandra Station On The Eve Of Eid?

An image of people offering Nawaz is going viral on the internet. People are claiming that the picture is of outside Bandra Railway Station. Further, along with the picture a social media user @vinit_pandit243 wrote in the caption, “Bandra Railway Station (west) in Mumbai But हनुमान चालीसा not allowed.”

Similarly another user @ShwetankSeeks wrote, “This is outside Bandra Railway station (can’t miss the famous stone entry gate). Image available in public domain. Can do a reverse lookup through Google Lens.“

Moreover, the image is also available at the page of The Atlantic.

Hence, this is an old image. But, people are sharing it in a misleading way.
