Video of a Physical altercation falsely shared with misleading claim. Read the Fact Check

On social media, a video showed a man slapping a bank manager went viral. While sharing the video users claim that “A BJP leader has the audacity to slap a Public Sector Bank Manager. The Arrogant BJP should soon be taught a lesson”.
Fact Check
On investigation, DFRAC found a media report from Pune Pulse stating “A significant incident has emerged from Jalna. A bank manager has been assaulted by members of the ‘Swabhimani’ group. The assault was carried out by the youth district president of the Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana. The group alleges that the bank manager halted various subsidies”. Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana is a farmers union based in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. It was founded by Member of Parliament, Raju Shetti.
Furthermore, we also found a report from the Times of India mentioning “Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatna’s youth wing president, Mayur Borde of Jalna, has been caught on camera slapping the manager of Bank of Maharashtra in Warud Budruk village, Jafrabad tehsil of Jalna district on Tuesday”.
Conclusion
It is evident from the fact check that the person who slapped the bank manager was a youth district president of the Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana, not any BJP Leader. Therefore, the claim of social media users is misleading.
