Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s starrer movie Pathan was released on the 25th of January and according to some reports, this movie broke the record by becoming the highest opening movie in the history of Indian Cinema.
Meanwhile, many clips are circulating on social media where people are coming out of theatres and being asked to review the movie. In some of these clips, people are criticizing the movie and the actors. Social media users are sharing these videos and claiming them to be the public’s reaction to the movie Pathan.
Sudarshan news reporter Sagar Kumar shared a video, where a couple when asked about the movie mentioned it as “Bakvas” which when translated into English is “Rubbish”. Posting this he tweeted, “The trends are starting to come #फ्लॉप_हुई_पठान”

In another video shared by social media users, the people are coming out of cinema halls and when asked about the movie the people replied that they are not happy with the film and even with Shahrukh Khan.
Sharing the video the verified user named Maithun who ru s a parody account by the name @Being_Humor writes, “ Pathaan Review.Minus Zero
SRK’s worst movie.”

Fact Check:
To investigate these two claims DFRAC team reverse searched these videos using reverse image search and found both of these videos from different movies.
The first video shared is in reality the review of movie “Brahmastra” and not Pathan.
At about 3 minutes and 15 seconds, the same lady can be seen in the video which is getting viral.
The second video is from the reviews of the movie “Zero” in which Shahrukh was the main lead.
Conclusion:
It is clear from the investigation that the videos being shared as reviews of Pathan in the reality are of different movies but not of Pathan. Hence the claims that are being made by social media users, especially the boycott gang are misleading.
