A screenshot of Donald Trump’s post is getting viral on social media. In this post, Trump captioned- “Elon rolled out the red carpet and is begging me to return to the failing Twitter, But Truth is special! We’ve got the best ratings on any social media platform! Elon thinks about me noon and night because he needs me more than I need him. He craves Trump so much he can taste it. it’s fun to watch him grovel at my feet! Hey Elon, I’ll come when you call me daddy!”
Sharing this screenshot, verified user Hend F Q (@LadyVelvet_HFQ) tweeted- “Elon Musk says he will support Republican Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis for the 2024 presidential race. Elon as well as Jamhori Descentis”

Fact Check:
The viral screengrab is of a social media site, Truth Social. Notably, this social media platform was created by Trump Media & Technology Group. Former American President Trump is a founding member of this platform.
On Keyword searches for lines used in the post such as “Elon rolled out the red carpet,” or “call me daddy”, the DFRAC team found no such post by Trump on the Truth social platform.
Further, the same keywords gives no relevant result on Donald Trump’s Twitter account.
Conclusion:
It is clear from the fact check of DFRAC that the viral screenshot of Trump’s post is fake. Donald Trump has not commented any such thing about Elon Musk.
