To fact-check the claim of the viral video, DFRAC did a reverse image search of some frames of the video. The team found the video on Arabic Club News’ Twitter handle. The video was posted on September 22, 2020. Caption in Arabic language – “فرحة رئيس وأعضاء مجلس إدارة النادي االنادي ااة امنادي املنادي اامناالنادي النادي امنادي امل لعربي بهدف الفوز بأقدام علي أحمد خلف” is given. Which in English translation- “Joy of the chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Arab Club after Ali Ahmed Khalaf scored the winning goal”
After that DFRAC checked the profile of verified user Wasim R Khan, who has posted the video. According to his Twitter bio, Waseem R Khan is the president of bjp’s Mumbai Minority Morcha and also the chairman of the Waqf Development Committee.

It is clear from the DFRAC Fact check that the video of Dubai’s sheiks celebrating after India’s victory over Pakistan is fake, as this video is not of Sheikhs of Dubai but of the Sheikhs of Kuwait. The video is 2 years old and they are celebrating after a player Ali Ahmed Khalaf scored the winning goal in the Sheikh football match. Therefore, the claim of social media users is fake.
