DFRAC converted this video to specific key frames for testing. On searching the key frames, we found the report of AajTak and Amar Ujala. In which the army personnel seen in the video can be seen helping the flood victims.
The report said that due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand, the Nainitallake was overflowing in a strong current towards both the Bhowali and Haldwani routes. During this, army personnel formed a human chain and rescued many people trapped in a shop.
Conclusion
Hence the viral video is misleading. Because the video is not of the Sri Ganganagar flood but the Nainital flood.
