Swachh Abhiyan was launched on 2nd October 2014 by our honourable PM Narendra Modi. Swachh Abhigyan aims to conduct a cleanliness drive around India and make India a clean country. A claim is getting viral on social media by Goa Congress, according To Goa Congress in 2017, BJP ensures clean, green and garbage-free beaches. However, Goa Congress made a chart and differentiate that no such promises have been fulfilled by the BJP by showing the picture of a dump yard beach as a Goa beach.
Fact Check
After seeing the picture of a dump yard on Goa beach, we did some research and found that the picture originally was of a beach in Hawaii. Getty image posted the same picture on 6th June 2006 where this picture of beach dump yard caused for around Rs 345. Hence proving the claim is fake and misleading as the picture was taken from a website.

Another Proof
To-Hawai.com posted the same picture on their wall of the same dumb yard beach and captions, “Marine debris in the Hawaiian Islands”.
Conclusion- Hence proving the claim is misleading and fake as the picture of dump yard at beach is a sight of Hawaii and not of Goa beach.
